I personally have not had a chance to try this update (or looked into the changelog) to see if it fixes this re-occurring problem, but it might be worth a shot. Keep in mind this issue really only applies to the -5.412.0 error at this point, unless there are other error codes you know of that will fix this problem.Īlso, as of 2010-May-11, there is an update 2 for AutoCAD 2010. Once I re-opened the AutoCAD 2010 software, the computer connected to the server without a problem! If the invalid character is found, change it. Type the invalid character in the Find What box, then select Find Next. Not having anything to lose at this point, I decided instead to rename the file and not delete it. Doing the good ol' Google search on the issue, I came across an Autodesk forum where someone suggested deleting the CASCADEINFO.CAS file from the computer. Since there were multiple computers all connecting to the same server without a problem, I decided the computer affected had it's own issues as opposed to my fear that the "license server" was having problems. Upon receiving a distress call for AutoCAD 2010 not connecting to the license server on a computer, I investigated the issue only to come up with: Error -5.412.0
